Not only does my daughter wear out a traditional cable in about a week, she ruins several charging ports on the device by trying pinching the cables too tightly or by dropping the device with an unbreakable cable. I have purchased additional magnetic plugs and installed them on all of our devices and have had no problems. Not to mention being able to plug in my phone and headphones on the bedside table in the dark without waking my wife. over a month ago and it has been one of my best investments. These cables are great!
