The shoes don't have much structure so I feel like my son's feet aren't getting enough support got enough support. Also, after a week of wearing, the material began to fade and crack. Velcro straps are good but the material of the whole shoe is not very good. I wouldn't buy them again. It's a shame because I love New Balance shoes; my son has other great NB shoes. I thought I'd try a different style this time, but I've learned my lesson.
