When I bought this food I was desperate for a dog food that my dog's stomach could accept. After suffering from acute gastroenteritis, he became allergic to grain chicken, which he loved and ate for 9 years, and could no longer tolerate beef. As a temporary solution, I had to cook for him. He could only eat ham, was looking for dog food which seemed to have everything I was looking for and I was hoping my dog would like it as he had very little appetite. I have a second bag and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes well. My dog looks forward to food I haven't seen in 3 months and her stomach took the food I slowly introduced from day one with no problem. it was the solution. I always recommend Open Farm Company for the products they make and for their high environmental and animal standards. Three months later I would like to say that I am still passionate about Open Farm Food. My dog never had stomach problems again. He looks forward to eating it and considers it a treat. Without this meal, I don't know how I would have coped. I also bought treats from the pig, which he tolerates without any problems.
