My dentist recommended using a straw and I started using it with my daily lemon water. The acid in the lemon made my teeth sensitive and I couldn't help but start my day with lemon water. I felt guilty about the plastic straws and switched. Yes, they will soften with prolonged contact with liquid, but that's not necessary. The landfill is just full of plastic and it works for me. I have the last 5 left and my next box of 200 will arrive tomorrow. hp My dentist was right and using straws worked. They are unlearned and not permanent, but they work for me. I gave them 5 stars because I still like them. I don't expect paper to last long in liquid.
