Ideal. This is the size and shape of the Pyrex vault.

Perfect. Pyrex storage containers of this size and shape are very difficult to find. I mainly use it for packing leftovers for lunch. I no longer like to heat things in plastic and prefer to use glass. With a lid they are perfect for this. The lid fits well, nothing has spilled or spilled. They're a little harder to use than a plastic container, but they last longer and I think they're safer.
