Low LEDs: Photo Studio

Honestly, you get what you pay for. For the price (currently $40) this isn't a bad kit. But it shouldn't have an average of 4.5 stars. For your money you get: - 3 fabric panels, each with a rigid frame to hold the fabric in place and velcro to tape everything together - 1 amazingly strong black bag to fold everything into. - 2 low power LED lights with mini tripod stands - 1 phone stand The fabric walls are solid, the frame is nice, and the bag is convenient to put everything. However, I don't see a situation where you would need to transport your mini photo studio, so the bag doesn't matter. The real problem here is the LED lights. Look closely at all the photos here. The lighting is not bright enough to remove shadows, even on a white background. This is unacceptable - almost every ecommerce platform prefers a 100% white background. If you plan to clean up every photo and carefully remove shadows, you're going to have a hard time. Basically you pay $40 for the box and the background. This is overpriced as they certainly ship in bulk from China for <$10 each. Simply put, you have to spend extra money to get a decent semi-coverage. You'd be better off buying one of Revain's standalone pop-up studios for $20 or less, and then stock up on powerful LED daylight lamps ($5 each) and some cheap jigs ($6.50 each). For the same end cost, you get a much better setup. TLDR: It's not worth it.
