Ok, but not warm enough for skiing or being in the snow.

These socks are a bit large and loose. They are warm enough to wear around the house on a cold day, but not warm enough to be in snow or very cold temps for an extended amount of time. I thought these would be similar to the 'hot feet' brand, but they are not nearly as warm.

Pros

Looked like old but so soft and warm. Not too tight around ankles but don't fall down.

Cons

The wool material may cause irritation and itchiness on sensitive skin
