Fans are nice and well placed. But the surface of the cooling pad is smooth and slippery. When used under a laptop on a chair or in bed, the laptop slides off instantly as there are no rubber pads to hold it in place. I ordered some rubber dots on the grips and will put them on the surface of the cooling pad, but the designers should have thought of that by now. I am very upset that I had to spend another $8 on Capture Points. UPDATE: After 10 months the bottom two fans stopped working. I've ordered another one for a little more money but it seems most of these cooling pads aren't built to last.
