All bags were sealed first. Second, they didn't dissolve on contact with water as advertised (the others I bought dissolved). I put the sachet in a bucket of water and waited for it to dissolve. Several minutes passed before I saw it dissipate. The clue was actually very light blue water. I smelled it, nothing rough. I ended up just throwing it down the toilet and flushing it before it dissipated so I don't know how long or if it really was. I would not buy this brand again.
