DIasspointing in kits and sets

They are nowhere near as good as I expected. I have a 30 year old German set that I bought from a duty free shop in Frankfurt (if such things could be carried on board) and they are sharper than these. I'd happily pay 2-3x that for a decent manicure set but they don't seem to exist. Update: I have now completely given up using this set. Two plier-type wire cutters (the main reason I picked this set) become useless after just a few uses. Despite the name, I highly doubt they are made in Germany.
