This is a great card reader and very affordable. I bought it specifically for its function when I need to swap cards. This is where this product stands out: the power button. Once I've safely removed the card, I insert another card and quickly turn the reader off and on again. This sends a signal to the computer and the folder will open on the screen. In terms of speed, I'm most interested in SD card transfer. With SDXC UHS-I 128GB cards and USB 3.2, I maintain 90MB/s no matter how many transfers it makes. 90 MB is evenly distributed among all. Transfer files from USB 3 HD to PC average 111 MB Transfer files from PC to HD average 105 MB Update: After less than a year of use, the card reader stopped working. The USB ports still work, but the maps are unreadable. My old Sabrent reader caught fire as a replacement.
