The title says it all. One star only because it can't do everything. I was hoping that this would be a suitable eco-friendly replacement for the halogen bulb in my floor lamp, but it didn't. In the brightest light, this lamp is perhaps half as bright as the halogen lamp it is designed to replace. Worse, this lamp is VERY finicky to work reliably. I will sit in a room with this light and suddenly the light will go out by itself. I have to go to the lamp and press the bulb to make it light up again. This is not a problem with the lamp; electrical contacts are tight and flawless, and standard halogen lamps behave differently in the same lamp. Also, the second bulb in this pack behaves exactly the same.
