Works well. You need clean socket contacts and an LED dimmer switch.

The lamps correspond to the description and work well. There are two things to note when installing. Check the ends of the lamp socket for carbon deposits and scrape if found. An indication of soot is a dim lamp during installation. Soot accumulates on the ends of older halogen lamps over time. The second thing to pay attention to is installing an LED dimmer switch to ensure even dimming across the entire dimming range of the switch. Brightness and Reliability

I want to replace a 300W halogen bulb. This is the brightest thing I could find from Revain. I don't think it really puts out 2000 lumens. Maybe around 1500 lumens maximum. 120W incandescent equivalent. I have extra 3x120W LED bulbs nearby so they're almost on par with the old 300W halogen bulbs. The lamp is not very well made. I broke one when replacing it. Luckily the second one didn't break. It does the trick if you're looking for the equivalent of 120-150 watts. I like the fact that it…

Weak and unreliable; don't waste money.

The title says it all. One star only because it can't do everything. I was hoping that this would be a suitable eco-friendly replacement for the halogen bulb in my floor lamp, but it didn't. In the brightest light, this lamp is perhaps half as bright as the halogen lamp it is designed to replace. Worse, this lamp is VERY finicky to work reliably. I will sit in a room with this light and suddenly the light will go out by itself. I have to go to the lamp and press the bulb to make it light up…
