The case is nearly indestructible. I dropped it twice, got wet, put it in the snow, not a trace, not a trace of moisture. Remember the phone is SEALED. This means the sound is muted. Using Bluetooth is ideal, but if you're holding your phone and want to hear the ringing like a regular phone, you'll have to turn the phone's volume all the way up to hear anything.
