We all do it. For me, this chance usually ends badly, and the product almost doesn't look like it does in the pictures. So when I ordered it, I had very low expectations. This time I was ecstatic when I opened the package - I sniffed cautiously (you probably know what smell I was expecting) and nothing! courting! Then the colors hit me. The whites were very white and the colors are vibrant! (2 points but I still wasn't completely sold) Then I checked the gum. Yes it went all the way and when I pulled it it was back in shape! (Holy cow 3 for 3!) I was sure that the next time I lay everything out the picture would be crooked or misaligned or something like that. But no! All is well! I am absolutely and positively excited about this sheet! I mean, it's not a long staple 100% Egyptian cotton with a sateen weave and a 1400 thread count - it's still a 100% polyester base sheet (a little thin - I can just see my hand through it as you can see in the picture). this) BUT it's the perfect inexpensive sheet for my 6 year old bed - I don't mind if she gets sick or gets mucus stuck to her. My only real complaint is that there are some stains - maybe paint dripped on it? (Picture of a balloon and 3-4 other spots on the sheet) That only worries me because I keep thinking that there is fluff stuck to it or something. It's almost in the washing machine right now - if anything crazy happens to THIS I'll be sure to update this review.
