First off this isn't my first build (nor even my first hundred) so I have some experience and I've never seen a wire set be so confusing. Now for the product: First Amazon sent the wrong color but I was willing to dwell on it. Then I noticed that the individual wires weren't tensioned properly, causing them to kink and twist just for the optics, and I was ready to put up with it again. I then went to connect the cables and noticed that the GPU cable had the side cover of the CPU power supply. This would mean that my $1400 GPUs would not be able to meet the performance requirements and potentially cause some serious problems. If I didn't read and just plug it in, we'd learn some oddities. Cable Mod, how can you screw up so much in ONE set? I will update the rating based on the customer service here. *Update: Just tested other cables with a PSU tester. 24-pin open, no contacts, just no power. The power supply works great with standard cables. Cablemod - where is your quality control? Are you kidding me?
