Better suited for outdoor recreation

I bought my skinny 8 year old 7-8 model thinking it would fit but it looks more like a 10. They are designed for gymnastics , so they should fit snugly. I would take a size smaller if I bought it. They are pretty and shiny, she loved them! Luckily she will grow into them!
