Description says 'female' but we found it chunky, boxy and not suited to an hourglass figure. The small size was too big. on a 5'4" frame weighing 110 pounds. The first photo in the ad is pretty accurate. Others that make it look like it could be adjusted slightly on the sides are not so true.
