Possibly my favorite tool. Nail guns are dangerous and require special nails. This thing is much safer and will work with any regular nail. The magnet keeps the nail in place, so you can drive it in with one hand, even in tight spaces. Extremely loud. Some 16p nails didn't fit because the head was too big, but probably 99% was ok. The plastic handle broke after 2,000 nails, but snapped back into place. That's a wonderful thing. Update: I'm sure this isn't meant for kids, but my 6 year old daughter wanted to build a shelf and there's no way to drive a nail in without breaking your finger. So I had her (under very close supervision) use a nail hammer and she did great. The biggest challenge is starting at the right angle.
