I'm a guy and I don't have a lot of facial hair. I usually pluck out patches that are patchy or sparse, like sideburns and neck. Now that lifts the fluffy hairs in your face and damn it pulls. No excruciating pain, but you know it's working. For coarse hair, you need to stop when you feel a tug and then pull as if you are using them like tweezers. It does not capture all the hairs, for the rest you need tweezers or a razor. I think the coarse hair needs to be a bit longer than the stubble to allow it to get stuck. Washing your face with soap removes the natural oils long enough for the tool to stick better. I am very happy with what I expected and the price of these tools. But why pink? More items in the set and who steals your pink tools :)
