I used these LEDs to build into the grill. I've always liked the look of the F150 Raptor, so I decided to emulate it. They were very easy to install. The LED is in a rubber grommet, you slide the LED out and drill a hole for the grommet. After installing the socket, you put the LED back in place and this ensures safety. And of course connect power and ground. They come with only about 6 inches of wire so will need to be lengthened for most applications. I soldered and lengthened mine. Black is positive and white is negative, which I think is a bit counter-intuitive. I am satisfied with how the facility has developed. And the LEDs are bright enough even in daylight.
