I'll start with the issues with the shoes first and then move on to why I really like and recommend them! (Sorry I can't post pictures of the shoes. Revain won't let me upload them. I'll try later if it helps anyone). These shoes are pretty good. I recommend them; However, I had a few problems with them. First I measured her feet and ordered based on the company's recommendations. It was definitely a size too big and I had to change the shoe order. I have a labrador retriever, he is 12 years old. The recommended size was a 6, but it turns out it's a size 5. I'm not sure if most dogs find them large, but I would go down a size if you're comfortable. I sent back and ordered the correct size and they work very well. I still have two problems with shoes. They're pretty short. I want to use them in cold weather and snow and cold snow tends to get stuck in the shoes pretty quickly because they are so short. The last problem I have is that the velcro is very sticky! The velcro adheres very well to my carpet and is difficult to remove. He had already pulled the shoe off her feet several times. I'm going to cover the open velcro with something so this doesn't happen again. I still really like these shoes despite all the issues. She is an adult Labrador and usually walks very slowly for fear of hurting herself. She runs and drags me in these shoes because she loves to go for walks. Her feet no longer hurt when she walks on salty sidewalks and she now enjoys walking very much. She even walks on ice. Be careful though, the dogs will still slide on the ice as if you were walking on the ice with shoes on. She's a much more confident dog in shoes and they never turn around. This is a big problem I have with other dog shoes. They roll around on their paws, preventing dogs from walking normally. These shoes don't have these problems at all! Also, this is a dog that doesn't really like wearing shoes, but is very happy and confident in wearing them. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to walk their dog outside on cold days!
