I had a previous version of this hair straightener and loved it. I was sad I couldn't find it.

I've been using this straightening iron for half a year now. I had a previous version of this hair straightener and loved it. I was sad that I couldn't find this particular version, but I found this version and thought it was similar to the previous version. The end result of this hair straightener really works. But the experience did not live up to my expectations. A few things I liked about the old version that this version doesn't have: 1) When the rectifier has reached its temperature, it will beep to let you know. 2) I personally don't really like the controls on the side, but that doesn't get in the way. In the older version, it was where the light was 3) Locking this straightener requires a little more force than the previous version. The first version had a simple twist. To do this, you had to push/pull the lock. Biggest plus point: This hair straightener is lighter than its predecessor. Biggest minus point: My hair sometimes gets caught between cracks in the flat iron and the plates.
