I have super curly curly thick hair and I live in Florida with 90% humidity 90% of the year. I read reviews and articles about the best irons. It was in the top 5 and a lot cheaper. I've been using Chi for 10 years. The first lap was amazing. I went through each section of hair twice versus my usual 8 times. Looks great. I washed and straightened the qi 24 hours before. Tomorrow I will do the same with this one but so far super impressed. Thought my hair was hopeless.
