IF YOU READ THE REVIEWS TO DECIDE TO BUY THIS PRODUCT, READ IT! Would love to hear negative reviews before purchasing! I don't know why there are so many rave reviews about this iron. I literally skimmed reviews of the best irons of 2018 2 days in a row and this one kept popping up. How much did Remington pay to have their products featured on so many websites? (Lol, just kidding. Really though.) I understand you get what you pay for. But dude, that's awful! First, it stinks horribly. The smell of burnt plastic is too strong. It just made my hair smell. Second, it didn't slip through my hair at all. It kept grabbing and leaving bruise marks everywhere. Wavy and straightened. Finally, the "conditioners" he puts out don't help much because they left my hair so dry and damaged. My boyfriend even noticed that she looks dry and smells burnt. I can't imagine it doing any harm with regular use. I thought maybe it's just my hair because it's dyed. So I tried it on my girlfriend's natural hair. Same results. Extremely disappointed. If you care about keeping your mane healthy, don't waste your money on this hair straightener. There are other flat irons that won't ruin your hair. Oh and ps the plates don't even touch except at the top unless you press them hard against each other which does more damage! Pooh.
