Clear Globe G40 Outdoor String Light Bulbs - E12 120V 5W Incandescent Round Bulbs for Indoor and Outdoor Patio Lighting Replacement - 1.5 Inch, Pack of 25 Review

These bulbs were purchased to replace blown bulbs on my porch. These are clear bulbs, they were well packaged to prevent breakage and were well priced for the number of bulbs. None broke and all caught fire.

It was exactly what I was looking for - when during a thunderstorm half the lanterns in my garden flew we couldn't get such bulbs found in a large pack - they match my current patio lights perfectly and I'm glad I was able to buy a large pack of these rather than small boxes of 2 and 4.

I'm so glad I finally found a replacement bulb for our porch street lights! I've looked everywhere for these lamps but for some reason they are no longer commercially available. We have Christmas lights from Bright Tunes with Bluetooth speakers and Christmas lights from Better Homes & Gardens and these replacement bulbs are perfect! Very satisfied.

These bulbs are the most fragile I've ever seen - I've had so many broken ones - I was worried about how they would be packaged. But they come in a sturdy cardboard box with a thick styrofoam insert that has holes for each bulb. The bulbs arrived intact and the ones I used work - no broken or bad bulbs and a good price. Also, they arrived very quickly. Would buy again.

I wish there was more information about the sizes in the description. This is not the size I was looking for. After doing more research I see other companies had outlet sizes etc. Since I don't know exactly what G40 stands for, I gave it at least 2 stars. I'm not giving anymore because I see I can't return without using up most of the refund on return shipping.

They're great but a bit flimsy. We bought garlands from another seller and I broke the lightbulb. I ordered these onions knowing I would break another bulb in our garlands again. They fit perfectly and are the same as the others on the fairy lights. However, I think the glass is thinner than a typical large incandescent bulb that you will buy at a large store. This was just what I needed to replace a couple of burned out bulbs in my pergola lighting. Each bulb was individually wrapped in bubble wrap, and the packaging also included spacers for each bulb. They match the bulbs I currently have, which are "soft white", not glaring and too bright. They put out a lot of light at night, but not that "blinding ultraviolet white light". Very pleased, bulbs look great and work great. I've read in other reviews that you have to unscrew all the bulbs before hanging the lights to make sure you don't break them when hanging. I wasn't expecting this but to my surprise they came without the bulbs so we could hang them up and then install the bulbs.
