It was exactly what the star rating said - good. They're not airtight (which I knew when I bought them), but as another reviewer suggested, if you put plastic wrap on top and secure them all with tape, they won't leak. However, for the sake of simplicity next time I'll just buy something airtight as the process of attaching it took quite a long time and only increased the packing stress. In addition, the bottles are quite easy to fill, but in a squeeze bottle case that makes it almost impossible to squeeze out the liquid. I had trouble squeezing the shampoo and conditioner out of the large bottles, especially when I was halfway down the bottle and the top of the cap (the hinge part that closes the bottle) on two of my bottles just came off completely. . The bag is good though, it was the perfect size and I actually kept it at home to store my cosmetics. Overall I think if I could do it all over again I would buy a different product but these comply with all TSA rules if that is your primary concern.
