I think I'm the 30 foot alien they talked about. I usually have large plastic frames because I'm very, very, very short-sighted. These clips are very helpful. They're a bit heavy, but you should have seen my first few pairs before they came out with polycarbonate. As I'm nearsighted the lens is thinnest in the middle but it's still a piece of material. Now to keep the glasses in their places.
