Goes well with Evanger's hand stuffed chicken thighs

Good quality for a vegetarian dog food. The brand has a relatively good track record when it comes to reviews. I would recommend mixing a vegetarian meal with one of the canned meats. I pair it with their chicken drumsticks or drumsticks. I do half and half for my dog because he's old and canned meat is high in fat, so I scrape off some fat so my old man doesn't get chubby. I would recommend 3/4 meat (remove some visible fat) and 1/4 vegetarian for most dogs, especially large breeds, but half and half for older and/or small dogs. I would not recommend this meal as the only meal. source for dogs. Dogs are carnivores and their digestive systems are designed primarily for meat. Meat from internal organs like the heart and liver is best, but chicken thighs or chicken drumsticks from Evanger work best, especially since they contain soft, cooked bones. Dogs are carnivores, but they are also scavengers, so some variety, such as fruits and vegetables, is good for them but shouldn't normally make up more than 25% of their diet. Dogs evolved to eat meat and need it to be healthy, so please don't project moral beliefs about meat onto dogs. It's just not what they are, and they require specific proteins that can only be obtained from eating meat.
