The size is a bit small.
I buy clothes a size up because you never know when a growth spurt will come along that will force you to run to the store at the last minute. Normally my son is a little looser in size 14/16, but this shirt fits him perfectly. If he has another growth spurt next week, this shirt won't last long enough to be worth the money spent on it. But I can pass it on to my youngest son who is 1 year younger.
