The only true! good for the ottomans
For those of you looking for a soft and comfortable footstool, this is not the one. The item has little to no padding but the fabric looks like it will take a beating and looks smooth and well tailored. I put a thick layer of styrofoam on top of mine and covered a fairly large box on top of it. Voila, perfect as a footstool and as a seat! It has a good weight and is very stable. Be careful not to align the edges of the screws when attaching the legs. The cost was phenomenal compared to other footrests of this size, even with my DIY add-on. The real deal and exactly what I was looking for!
