The rug is exactly what I wanted. Perfect size, totally waterproof, absorbent. However, I have 2 BIG problems with it: 1. It comes folded, not rolled, so it has a lot of creases. Laying out in the sun has helped most of them. 2. Chemical stench is INCREDIBLE! I'm not very sensitive to smells, but this was (so far) very bad! I took it outside and rubbed both sides with Dawn, rinsed and laid out to dry. I brought it in a few hours later and the stench was still strong enough to give me a headache for 10 minutes. Put it in the garage overnight and set it out in the sun for a few hours the next day. It still stinks today, but not as badly. Sprayed it with Lysol to try and at least mask the smell. Maybe I need to put it outside somewhere other than where I bought it.
