Review on Large SturdiBag: Flexible Pet Carrier for 2 Pets with Divided Compartments by Chris Long

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A very nice large stretcher that fits under an airplane seat.

I bought these because I wanted something more than Sherpa Medium carriers and Sherpa Large carriers that slide into the dog's spot when you try to put them under the seat. I ended up returning the Sherpa Larges and receiving two bags of Studi Large Divideds, one for each of my two Chihuahuas. I got the split because I needed the extra opening mesh flap at the top, but for the trip I just made I folded the splitter nice and small and it sits nicely between the two pillows in the carrier. The straps matched the seats perfectly on our Alaska Air flight. The staff asked if it would fit and I just said yes and pointed out that it could tilt a bit to fit under the seat. However, I'm a bit nervous about the lack of aisle seats. It looks a little small, but it can be handled.+ It fits perfectly under the seat of an Alaska Air domestic flight. (It sticks out a bit in length, but we had no problems with it.) + Lightweight + Can be folded under squeeze into the seat without taking up too much interior space. It just changes shape a little.+ You can adjust the 4 pieces of shoulder strap to make one side longer, so your pet can move smoothly while you carry the carrier on one shoulder.+ You can make the divider nice and tidy roll down. tight and comfortable for a pet +. My 8 and 5 pound Chihuahuas were able to roll over, curl up, lie back and sit comfortably with their head out of the top bar+. The only difference between the split and non-split versions is two Velcro closures inside, a flap to separate, and two opening top flaps to allow them to stick their head out. + You can open the mesh on the front, back and top for good breathability. This is so important.+ The bottom pillow is nice and soft. My puppies used them as beds when we were at our destination! I just left the front flap open and they just crawled in to keep it still.
