I have foot problems (Morton's Neuroma) and I wore these shoes to a black tie party and stood and danced a lot and wasn't in pain until the latter part of the night. That's good for me. The sole of the shoe is very thin, so there is not enough cushioning in the forefoot, and the style of the shoe does not allow for insoles. Too bad because I could use some extra arch support too! However, when I go to the wedding in a few weeks, they will be in my suitcase. I wish more shoemakers made comfortable shoes that didn't make you look like you just made your own cereal or pushed your stroller up the barn.
