I'm new to camping so I need to figure out what to use and have a steep learning curve. I had 2 store clerks and several other vacationers tell me "PORTA-PAK" was a good product. There are others that work just as well, but this one comes in easy-to-dissolve packages that you just throw away. Since I bought my trailer, I have only filled up 4 times. I've been using this since I received it and I have no odors during normal use. When resetting, ALL 30 gallons turn light purple and I saw less solid matter. I like it. They are handy and come in a small resealable bag.
