Keeps food warm even at night!

What a great product! I bought this set for my daughter to bring hot food to school. We also have the Thermos brand with a flip top and that works pretty well, but we wanted something that could hold more volume and also have a wider mouth for easier food access. It doesn't disappoint. I first tested this by adding boiled water to the containers to warm up the food. Drain freshly cooked rice and baked salmon (on top of rice) and add to each container at 7am. At 12pm (5pm) I opened the containers and the food was still quite warm. Definitely warm enough to enjoy. We also took the banks to fast camping for 1 night. I used the same method of heating containers first with boiled water, then into one container freshly cooked and chopped sausages and into another container freshly cooked rice at 3:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. when we arrived at the campsite, and dinner at 7:30 p.m. (4.5 hours) all still very warm. However, the steam from the sausage left some "meat juice" in the container due to condensation, but that was fine. After I finished our sausages and emptied the container, out of curiosity I put in the warm leftover tub of pasta (which my kid insisted he wanted and then didn't eat). It was around 8pm, we met around 7am the next day and I opened the container - the liquid was still WARM after 11 hours! I didn't try the food so I don't know if the pasta was warm. Very cool!
