Review on 🐶 Nature's Recipe Grain Free Large Breed Dog Food, Chicken, Sweet Potato & Pumpkin Recipe, 24 lbs, Easy to Digest by Jennifer Johnson

I've been feeding my show dogs Nature's Recipe for 2 decades now. I've tried other brands on occasion and kept coming back before that - until now. My subscription and savings texted me at the last minute that they couldn't get our regular meal and since I had so little of what we had at home I tried to replace that. Big mistake. My eldest girl had horrible gastrointestinal issues because of this and my 5 year old daughter has issues too. Ideally I would just use this formula in addition to my regular lamb and rice or worst case scenario slowly transition the girls to mixing this into their food and gradually increasing the portions so as not to aggravate their digestive systems. Being in a pinch I replaced these and tried to find another bag of lamb and rice to mix with until my subscription and save worked again. To my surprise, I can't find lamb and rice anywhere. The formula I trusted is no longer made. The new formula is not what I want. Nature's Recipe has started a new marketing program that has left me with dogs who are not doing very well due to this sudden dietary change and have no way of gradually transitioning them to something else. Nature's Recipe has increased the price and reduced the number of packs over the years, but now that they've also changed the formula I trusted, I'm out. I've had frequent supply issues at my local stores for YEARS and thought I'd solved it with a subscription and saved. It turns out it was wrong. There are many quality foods out there that have what I want for my dogs, have a solid supply and delivery program and will not suddenly stop that food and leave dogs on that food to suddenly switch to a different formula and experience the digestive effects of the sudden Change. Time to change forever. I'm leaving and this time I'm not coming back.
