In fact, this device gets a full rating for being. I hate the 3 inch cable that comes with full size readers. This one works. Drivers are easy to find. Five stars. I hated the USB version of this reader. He kept bending and tripping. The USB-C version has a tiny pigtail instead of a straight connector, which turned out to be a big improvement. If you touch it, the card will remain. The port does not break when touched. A chunky reader with a 2 inch cable is better. But in the absence of such an option, this one will do.
