You get what you pay for. This is the best you can get! This product is better than anything I have tried on the market. It fits snugly and easily holds my heavy 1970's Swedish magnifying lamp. I've tried cheap plastic replacement parts and they just didn't work for such a well made, durable magnifying lamp. The right clip for the right lamp ensures a secure hold. The tight fit ensures that the lamp and clamp will never come loose again. Ideal for 1/2 inch. This snug fit can flake paint and takes a drop of oil to get it all the way through, but it's a minor adjustment to ensure your lamp and clip never separate again. This clip is better than the factory original.
