Thought it was a good product but got a replacement that died. I realized how proprietary this product is, which makes it impossible for me. I have currently removed it from the aquarium and will not invest in it again. The original lamp only lasted 6 months. I think maintenance is too expensive. Just doing regular water changes was far more beneficial. Invest in a Python water changer and you will be much happier.
