This product is excellent. I've been using it for many years. This saves many water changes and you don't have to use chemicals.

Have been using this system for a few years now. Our local water, no matter what you did, was always scarce in the aquarium until we started this system. A bit pricey but my fish deserve fewer chemicals in the water.

The company does not even allow returns as advertised. Don't waste your money, the bulbs will last a month if you're lucky (like my original). The bulb replacement didn't even work and they don't allow returns. Thanks to these people I canceled my Revain Prime!

About a year ago I bought a green kill machine for my 75 gallon tank. Although the manual said the bulb would only last about 6 months, mine lasted over a year with constant use. I bought a replacement bulb and was amazed at how easy it was to replace and worked like a charm.

Product works as advertised and is great at reducing algae in my 55 gallon tank. The problem is that in one year I used 4 of these bulbs. And that includes using it for just a few hours a day or a whole month continuously. This is a quick fix if you are having ick problems, the fish will start looking better after a few days. If the lightbulb had a longer lifespan, it would be a near-perfect product.

Thought it was a good product but got a replacement that died. I realized how proprietary this product is, which makes it impossible for me. I have currently removed it from the aquarium and will not invest in it again. The original lamp only lasted 6 months. I think maintenance is too expensive. Just doing regular water changes was far more beneficial. Invest in a Python water changer and you will be much happier.

I bought a 24 watt unit a few years ago and it has worked great. He cleared my tank of green floating algae in 4 days. I left the machine on even though the water was crystal clear. The UV lamp lasts 3-6 months. Replacing the unit and replacement bulb is expensive, but you really don't have a choice. I recently bought a new block for my 55 gallon tank.
