You get what you pay for.

Bf spontaneously gave me an iPad mini when I was at Best Buy. I immediately hopped on Amazon to find a case instead of spending $40 on a Speck case at the store. In general he is average. Even worthy. It costs $15 and definitely looks like a $15 case. You get what you pay for. The image is a bit washed out and dull and there is no real gloss. There's also a black dot on the left side of the front panel on the white part of the case that isn't removable (not sure if it's visible in the photos), which is a bit frustrating. The cutouts for the keys are not placed optimally. I need to cut out the power button cutout so it fits better. The edge of the case extends beyond the buttons, making them difficult to reach for pressing. Not sure why there is a card slot, seems a bit pointless for an iPad case. The open-to-wake feature works well, which is nice. Generally decent. Definitely not perfect. Not super glamorous but gets the job done.
