I'm getting older and I don't jump on and off the boat like I used to. I started looking for the best way to help me get on and off at a reasonable price. I found it and am very happy with it. I'm a big guy and these things are very strong. They also fold up and down which is a plus. They also help my petite wife get on the boat. I attached one of these to the frame next to my trailer's fender. I mounted the second on the drawbar of the trailer. You will need to purchase mounting bolts, nuts, washers, and two brackets for each. I found everything at Home Depot. The brackets in the electrical island were heavy. I also put Loc-Tite on the threads of the bolt so I wouldn't lose it on the road.
