Ace Hardware told me they could cut and program my keys so I ordered them. They cut them out and tried to program them, but to no avail. It was free to cut the keys because they were my own keys so that was nice. I tried calling half a dozen lockers and about half said they could program them at different prices but a few of the lockers said that for some reason their systems couldn't program the keys for that particular car and suggested that I go to the dealer. I didn't want to spend money and get results so I went to the dealer. Key programming cost me $70. Some thoughts: - Keys must be cut before attempting to program them. I've heard dealers may not want to cut keys they don't own, so be sure to check ahead of time.
