Review on LeapFrog LeapStart Preschool Activity Animals by Bill Maki

I decided to buy some more books as my child was getting interested in his LeapStart books again. First time we were MANDATORY to create an online account and this is where I noticed that the cable that came with the device was wrong. I replaced another cable I had on hand and although we called customer service after trying to fix the problem ourselves we were never able to connect the books. I don't understand why you need to link a book to an online account. we just need to be able to use them right away. When I contacted support they offered NO HELP and instead sent an email containing only online troubleshooting instructions. It was a waste of time and very frustrating! My toddler (and I) were disappointed and sent the books back. Maybe that's why children now prefer other platforms and applications.
