Generally not suitable for decorating paintings if you don't agree with the stains.
There is a sticky substance in the packaging which I assume is used to hold the jewelry in place but the jewelry would be protected and would stay in place without the sticky substance Stay put, so I'm not sure if that's the case, that's true. So now there is a sticky smudged substance on the transparent decorations that photos are supposed to show that I can't get rid of. So it's generally not very good for decorating paintings if you don't agree with the stains on it.
