The Pavilion is a good entry-level gaming machine, so those who don't expect too much performance should be happy with it. It works best when paired with a 1080p monitor. Although I like that it's small. Doesn't take up much space on my desk. The stock fans are also pretty quiet. Most of these gaming PCs are pretty loud. Fortunately this is not the case. The only major criticism I have is that HP is releasing a new line of mid-range gaming PCs called the Victus. Which according to their website costs about the same but has better specs. So unless you can buy this at a significant discount I'd wait for Victus to come out later this summer.
