Firstly the material is soft as described and the buckle system is excellent. Takes getting used to, but doesn't slip. The width is just right for our crazy dads. They hold my pants well. I went as far as trying to make my own belts with webbing and buckles; how painful. That's a welcome change. I had a black one from the seller first and last name and while adequate it is stiff and scratchy and the free end attachment strap doesn't move like this one. Thought I would buy two more of these but in different colors blue and gray and was pleasantly surprised by the look, feel and fit of this line of straps. The mistake was good. I immediately ordered two more, black and coffee. I'm glad my waist is about 39ft so they fit just the right amount of extra stuff for neat storage.
