I was afraid it was a junk product as many similar products have many fake reviews. I figured it was charging slowly or a couple of outlets weren't working. But no! It easily charges my MacBook Air from any of the conventional outlets, and it also charges my iPhone, Kindle, and portable battery very quickly. A big improvement over a single lamp and a bunch of chargers plugged into an extension cord that was about to fall off the bedside table. Remember that this is a very small lamp! I agree with this because it takes up less space and the goal was to keep my bedside table clutter-free. But I was still surprised at how small it is. UPDATE: I've had it for almost a year now. We moved last month and I tossed it in a gift wrap box and it went across the country in a U-Box U-Haul. Got it and still works great! I liked it so much that I considered buying a second one. Every night he charges my laptop from one of the traditional outlets and then we use all three USB chargers for a couple of phones and then a Kindle, tablet, portable battery or portable speaker. I've never had any problems with it, it charges very quickly.
