I wanted a new fluffy blanket with a longer pile than the ones I already had, so here are two different fluffy blankets. The one I'm considering is of course the one that was on top when I unpacked it. This blanket is made of 100% polyester. The top is made of faux fur with a medium or long pile and the back is made of faux sherpa. I went for the double size black version. It has a really nice marbled effect that helps it look very three dimensional and luxurious while being a fairly inexpensive option. It's light but warm. At first it was soft, almost smooth (as polyester faux fur usually is). So the first thing I did was wash it off. I made it according to the label: gentle cold wash, tumble dry low. Now it's even softer and feels very, very comfortable.
